This is your time to do whatever 'floats your boat' here in the river banks of the breathtaking North Georgia Mountains. Here's the best part: just below the cabin is a takeout area and a payphone. Call a local Kayak Outfitter and they'll actually pick you and your kayaks up and take you back upstream so you can kayak back downstream to your cabin. There is no charge for this service, unless you wish to make a donation! How cool is that? The Cartecay Canoe House is equipped to sleep 6 with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Enjoy eating in if you prefer with a fully equipped kitchen for the chef of the family, or venture out for some fine dining or nearby antique shops.
